Welcome!! The Twenty-Third District of the Department of Alabama, South of the Birmingham metropolitan area, encompasses five counties in central Alabama - Bibb, Chilton, Coosa, Shelby and Talladega - and eleven Posts from the city of Talladega to West Blocton. We are proud to be part of the Department of Alabama and the world’s largest veteran’s organization.

This site contains information on each of our Posts - location, meeting time, contact information, membership dues, Post officer data and the existence of Sons of the American Legion Detachments, American Legion Rider Chapters and Ladies Auxiliary programs. Members will find useful information and numerous useful tools here.
